IRS Media Roundtable - March 19
The Internal Revenue Service, in partnership with the
Chinatown Public Safety Association (CPSA), presented
information about the special economic stimulus payment
(commonly known as a tax rebate) and the latest tax
scams.
CPSA Safety Fair at Castelar Elementary - February 29
The Chinatown Public Safety Association (CPSA)
partnered with LAPD, FBI, ATF, DEA, Secret Service, and
LAFD to educate the students about the various law
enforcement agencies and about public safety.
Reception for Deputy Chief Hara - February 27
The Chinatown Public Safety Association (CPSA) hosted a
reception in honor of newly appointed Los Angeles
Police Department (LAPD) Deputy Chief Terry Hara. Chief
William Bratton and Deputy Chief Jim McDonnell also
attended the event. Terry Hara will become the first
Asian American officer in LAPD’s history to reach the
rank of Deputy Chief. Deputy Chief Hara has devotedly
served LAPD since 1980. In addition to his devotion to
LAPD, Deputy Chief Hara is an active member of his
community.
CPSA Theft Prevention Seminar - February 25
The Chinatown Public Safety Association (CPSA)
partnered with LAPD to educate senior citizens about
how to protect oneself from becoming a victim of crime.
